This page is dedicated to providing information and support aimed at enabling you and your agency to successfully install the new KANINE Version 4.0 software, no matter what your situation.
We are currently offering three different methods of installation to make the setup process better fit your situation. Each installation method offers different features for you, the user or IT team. We have also provided an Installation document that thoroughly outlines each of the installation methods for you. To view your installation options, read the Installation Notes first. After reading the Installation Notes , download one of the following files. The 'Installation Notes' outline directions for installing each of these downloads and explain each in depth.
Version 4.0 Requirements
Supported operating systems are:
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008
512MB RAM minimum recommended.
Necessary Runtime components:
The following runtime files are required to run KANINE Version 4.0. When using the Click-Once installation option below, these files are installed for you if necessary. You may also install these manually first using the links below. You can check to se if your computer has these runtime files by looking for the file names in your computer's 'Add/Remove Programs' fileIf you receive any errors during the click once install relating to once of these runtime files, use the links below to download the file manually and then re-run the 'Click Once' install below to complete the installation process.

NOTE: THESE DOWNLOADS ARE FREE. THEY INSTALL A REGISTERABLE COPY OF THE FULL VERSION. BOTH INSTALLATION TYPES CAN BE CONFIGURED FOR NETWORK SETUP.

This is the primary KANINE Version 4.0 download. This download offers automatic updates to the user. This is a 'Per user' installation, which offers a 'low impact' setup. If you would like to install KANINE Version 4.0 for all users, you may want to utilize the 'Alternate' download below. This download does not usually work well with the FIREFOX Browser. Please use Internet Explorer or another comparable browser to download this file.

download link provides two alternate installation methods in one
download. If you are an IT administrator installing KANINE
Version 4.0
for your agency, or you would like to install the software for
'All users', this may be the download for you. The 'Manual'
installation method, provided in the download as well, can be installed whether or
not you possess Administrator rights on the target computer. You
must, however, have administrative rights to install the .Net
Framework, Powerpacks 3.0 and Reportviewer runtime files, if they are not
