How do I try KANINE Version 4.0 software before I buy it?
KANINE Version 4.0 is the latest version of the long running KANINE (Police K-9 Records) software. Code Blue Designs has leveraged real world police K-9 experience from both our staff and our customers to create America's best loved K-9 records software. In the past, we have sent Demo CD's free of charge to anyone requesting them. In response to recent economic changes however, we have adjusted the price of our software downward and in turn can no longer provide free DEMO CD's. As we keep our prices much lower than the competition, this will help us reduce running costs by thousands of dollars per year, will help reduce the natural resources that we use in our daily business and will allow us to keep the cost of our software down for you, the customer.
We do believe that if you try our product, you will see that KANINE Version 4.0 software will suit your K-9 records needs and will make your work as a K-9 handler or K-9 Unit administrator/trainer, much easier.
So, we offer two methods of trying our product before you buy it. (Note that a CD will be sent to your agency when you purchase any non-subscription type registration order.)

Download the software for free here. The software defaults to DEMO mode, which allows you to try the software with certain limitations, but can be registered into the full version on purchase. If you wish to try the software on a computer that does not have internet, we encourage you to go to the download page and scroll down to the 'Alternate Download' type. Here, you can enter the requested personal information and then click the 'Download Alternate Install now'. This will take you to a secondary page for a download link. On clicking this link, choose the 'Save' option and save the file to your computer. This file contains everything you need to install the KANINE Version 4.0 software and can be saved to a CD or USB drive, which you can then use to install the KANINE software on a computer that does not have internet connectivity. If you need to try the software on a computer that does have internet, we recommend that you use the 'Click Once' download on the download page as you will then receive any updates made to the software as we make them.
