Once you have assigned requirements to your officers, you can begin fulfilling those requirements from subsequent firearms qualifications. When adding new qualification records for an officer, you have three choices. these choices are as follows: 1) Add a new record from scratch. If you click the main portion of the ‘Add Qual.’ button to add a new, blank record. 2) Create a new record that is a copy of the currently selected record, for another officer (drop down portion). 3) Create a new record that is a copy of the currently selected record, fro the same officer (drop down portion). Once you have chosen how to create your new firearms record, simply fill in the data entry fields and click the ‘Save’ button. Once you’ve entered the firearms record, you can use the record to satisfy a firearms requirement that has been assigned to the officer. Simply select the firearms record as well as the requirement record and click the ‘Fill selected record... button to fill the requirement. Onc you have successfully assigned a valid record to the proper Assigned Qualification type, the icon indicating the status of the requirement will change to a green check.
