Sending E-mails is not a new concept. But, LE Manager allows the user to easily select groups of user’s by selecting criteria that you won’t find in your normal E-Mail client. Need to send a quick e-mail to personnel on a certain shift? LE Manager makes it easy to select the ‘By Shift’ criteria, select the proper shift, click on the ‘E-mail’ mode selection button and create the e-mail to only the people that you want. To send e-mails from within LE Manager, you must first setup the proper E-mail account information in the  User Setup form for any person that will be sending e-mails from within the LE Manager system. The same applies to the Text Messaging interface Then, add the necessary contacts for your employees and begin sending E-mails. From the main Contacts Screen, simply click the ‘E-Mail’ mode button or the ‘Text Message’ mode button at the bottom left portion of the screen to switch to the appropriate interface. You can go back and forth between ‘Contacts’ mode and ‘E-mail’ or ‘Text Message’ modes by using the mode buttons in the lower left part of the screen. When you switch to either E-Mail mode or ‘Text Message’ mode, LE Manager automatically filters the contacts to the appropriate type of contacts so that you do not have to sort through a large list of non-relevant records. You can still move between criteria modes to search for records in various ways. When you locate an E-mail or text message address that you wish to include in your list of recipients for this message, you have two options.   1) Check the check box beside the email address that you wish to send to. You can double click the entry in the list to select or de-select the entry or you can click the ‘Check all’ or ‘Uncheck all’ buttons to manipulate the check boxes. Once you have checked one or more E-mail addresses in the list, you can then click the ‘Add checked items from list’ buttons in either the Recipients or the Bcc fields. This will add the checked e-mail addresses to the list of recipients. 2) Additionally, you can drag and drop e-mail addresses from the list to either the Recipients field or to the Bcc field to add them. NOTE: Regardless of which method you use to add e-mail addresses to the Recipients or Bcc fields, the system will make sure that each address is only added once. This occurs even if you add all addresses from 2 different lists that both include the same e-mail address.
